Hisense sells both Android-based and VIDAA-based Smart TVs, and both can be set up. This guide is for viewers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What you need

• A Hisense Smart TV with internet. Tell us whether it shows Google Play or the VIDAA App Store.
• An internet connection of at least 30 Mbps, and 50 Mbps or more is good, because the connection is usually shared by the whole family.
• WhatsApp on your phone, to message us.

Setup steps

1. Make sure your Hisense TV is connected to the internet and working normally.
2. On Hisense VIDAA TVs open the App Store icon and search inside it, not in the global search. On Android models use the Play Store.
3. Open the app and send us a photo of the screen that shows the code it displays. A photo is safer than typing.
4. We load your live channels, movies and series from our side.
5. Close the app completely and open it again. Your free 1-day trial is ready to watch.

Internet in United Kingdom

Most UK homes have broadband that is fast enough for streaming. The usual weak link is Wi-Fi in a large or older house, so place the router close to the TV or use a cable. Home networks are busiest between about 7 and 11 pm.
